The above information is based on the published Notice of Race. The Race Committee instead allowed an extra boat from the Martin 242 class (All In) to be invited. However, All In would have been invited anyway as the last of the Wild Card boats so there is no practical difference. By Design and Persistence were not eligible to be invited as there could only be a maximum of five boats invited from any one class (in this case, PHRF C).
